According to the FBI, most shootings occur in low light conditions. These shootings occur either at night or inside with limited light. However, a majority of firearms training is conducted in well-lit environments. This class gives you the opportunity to bring your training to the next level and add training in lower light conditions. Students will learn the physiology of vision in reduced light and cover different gear options including weapon mounted and hand-held flashlights. There will be a heavy focus on utilizing those flashlights and other ambient light to obtain a sight picture and acquire positive identification of targets. Training begins in the classroom before moving into the range for live fire exercises in a diminished light environment.
