This two-hour introductory course covers defense of the home and family during a critical event. The chances of a shooting occurring in the dark, at home, are extremely high. Not only will this course cover shooting in low-light, it also covers use of force, legalities, physical security (doors, locks, lights, alarms, etc.), safe storage of guns and ammunition, emergency response plans, utilization of cover and concealment, the proper mindset, and dealing with police after an event. The first half of the course will be conducted in the classroom and finishes in our live fire range putting into practice some of the techniques learned. Prior shooting experience is required.
Proof of shooting experience can be any one of the following: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, or military DD 214 with pistol qualification.
